Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett

I wish I liked this book more. The plot and characters are all lovely, but at times the dialog feels choppy and mechanical. It's as if all the characters are just tools for expositing lore and world building. Certainly not true for the entirety of it, but enough to take me out of the world, especially during moments that just felt like rushes and rushes of information.

I will definitely read the other books in this series in the future, though.
