The Ink Black Heart by Robert Galbraith

4.0

A strong addition to the Strike and Ellacott detective stories. The use of social media posts and private gamer channels was a little reminiscent of The Appeal, which is told exclusively in epistolary form. The Galbraith novels are fun, but bloated. Never get so powerful that you can ignore your editor. The book would have benefited from being trimmed by a third.
