I love small town romances, and this one had all of the feels. I listened to the audiobook so I don't know if that makes a difference. I liked both Holden and Sophie's characters. I don't think there was a character in the book that I didn't like. There wasn't a ton of angst, or any of that wishy washy back and forth stuff.
Holden and Sophie made a decision and stuck with it. Granted, it all happened pretty quickly, but their friendship blossomed into so much more. Their dialogue was a little witty and fun. It showed how one alteration in a life plan can change the entire direction of your life. I also liked both Liv and Jobe. Hopefully they will get their own stories soon.
This was sweet, sexy, low key, feel good romance that will leave you smiling as Holden and Sophie get their HEA. If you are looking for a nice, no stress romance, this one should work.
