A great debut! I am excited for the next one. Dragons seem to be en vogue right now and I am here for it. Readers who loved fourth wing for those dragons and a magical academy with a touch of romance are going to eat this up.
The romance was the only hold up I have, it was just cheesy YA romance. Since there are two POVs, one is M/F and the other is F/F and while they were both fine, it was still the most meh of the book. But since this is a debut book, I give it grace.
