I skimmed through this book while at work and was totally blown away by a very small detail.

A new unicorn is introduced who is nonbinary. Phoebe asks if the unicorn wants to use they/them rather than she/her, and the unicorn mentions that it's easier to use pronouns in Unicornese, as everyone's pronoun is neigh. Phoebe decides that 'neigh' is the correct pronoun and proceeds to use it, consistently gendering the unicorn correctly.

I in real life use the pronouns ne/nir/nem. I tend to pronounce 'ne' as rhyming with 'neigh' (rather than rhyming with he/she). I was in shock seeing a KID'S COMIC BOOK use basically my exact, super rare, neopronouns for a character who is not a joke or an antagonist. Seeing that happen absolutely changed my life, and I hope someday I'll be able to tell this author how much that meant to me. I really want to own a copy of this book, or just that particular strip so I can display it somewhere very visible.
