A thief and an FBI agent. A married couple who play cat and mouse games with one another. What could be more entertaining to read?
While the premise for intriguing, the book didn't deliver.
It lacked the sizzle between the lead couple, I didn't feel the tension every time the two were together.
The pace was also off: going back and forth between the present and past was jarring.
I would have loved to read a chapter from Grant's POV. It would have added to the story and my investment in it.
