This book wasn’t horrible but also was not my favorite in the whole world. I definitely don’t like the enemies to lovers trope (especially in like a toxic kind of way) so if you also don’t and you prefer a much more romantic type of thing, this may not be your vibe. Even though the book did eventually get there, I could never get over some things like baiting the sharks with her bloody lip while drowning her Don’t get me wrong, I love the rough kind of love with a little bit of jeering but this book did it a lot. Also, I think another problem I had with this book was that Sawyer had little to no will power against Enzo. And the author tried to find a balance by trying to make it the same vice versa but it wasn’t equal at all. So I don’t know, it felt super abusive which leads me to distrust men. This book for sure wasn’t my style, but it wasn’t a horrible book. I definitely enjoyed it better when the plot thickened to unravel the thriller part of things. Kacey and her stitched mouth was the biggest surprise of the book it wasn’t a horrible book. I definitely enjoyed it better when the plot thickened to unravel the thriller part of things. Kacey and her stitched mouth was the biggest surprise of the book . The author ate with that plot for reallll. And I think that bit really had a lot of development and build up. It didn’t blow my mind but I was shocked.
