I actually hadn't read these until I got it from a book club I signed Gracie up for. You know how you can tell a storyteller has written a fine piece of work? 200 years go by and people (children even) still love them. Gracie loves Aesop's Fables and I find that, obviously, human nature has not changed so much with our indoor bathrooms and mechanical horses because these stories still ring true.
