The Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman

5.0

This book is amazing. I love the character of Cale, with his (rarely seen) nice side, and his (more used) deadly side. Though the narrator is 3rd person, the narrator isn't as non-judgemental as in most books, which makes it far more interesting and amusing to read, as Hoffman strikes an amazing balance between dark humour and deep thrills. I love how many aspects of the book parody our own world and state of living, while the actual setting is still far from anything within our own experience. The story thus far is one of the best I've ever read :3
