When Jessa's ex-husband shows up on an adventure tour and starts bothering her, tour leader Clark steps in. He pretends to be Jessa's boyfriend to get the guy to back off. Which wouldn't be a problem, except that Clark's brother and sister are also part of the tour team. Word gets back to his mom, who's thrilled that Clark is finally dating again after the tragic loss of his wife.
With Jessa planning Clark's brother's wedding, they can't just break up—things would get awkward with his family. But the longer the charade goes on, the more the two get attached—no matter how determined they are to never fall in love again.
This emotional romance with lovable characters can't help but get under your skin. The steamy scenes are incredibly hot, with a ton of tension and longing. Clark is a big cinnamon roll, and he and Jessa fit perfectly together.
