•The plot NEVER STOPPED. I was hooked the entire time.
•So many answers!!! I love world-building and history so I was thrilled about this.
•A couple POVs seemed useless. If you've read this book, you know who I'm talking about. I liked these characters previously, but they just FRUSTRATED me in this book and didn't contribute to the storyline in any important way.
•Bryce is essentially Aelin 2.0, which I didn't mind since I miss the TOG world. But that could be annoying for other people.
•Many events seemed way too convenient, but hey. It is what it is and I still enjoyed the heck out of the book.
•Was this book objectively good? Not necessarily. There were many components that were rushed/not well thought-out. But I adored the experience of reading this book and still think all SJM fans should read this series. I ultimately gave it a mid-range rating.
