Well, this is probably just me, but I really do not like the style of modernistic writing. A lot of the characters in this book seemed really dry and ordinary to me and there was nothing to like or dislike in the characters because they were really bland. The plot itself was incredibly boring and everyday too. I dislike stream of consciousness writing because it makes no sense to me. Everything about this book was really dull and boring and I could not wait to get it over with. Once again, another literature book that I would never pick up unless my class required it.
