The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

4.0

Reading the reviews, I’m actually really glad I haven’t read Gone Girl yet and I didn’t know how hyped this book was. Had I known, I don’t know if I would’ve enjoyed it as much as I did.

It was easy to read and I love unreliable narrators. There are points at which I thought it was really convenient for her to not remember something happening and then conveniently remembering them later on. Was it predictable? Kind of - but I still enjoyed it. I try to not think too much about the plot and read books for escapism. This one did what it set out to do, and I love a vengeful ending!
