Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll
5.0
emotional reflective sad fast-paced

Pamela is the survivor of a horrific serial killer. Tina is a firm believer her friend Ruth was a victim of the same man. Together, they battle grief and injustices as they struggle with everyone who’s suppose to be helping find the killer and lock him away.

This book was SO SO good! I loved this take on a true crime story (if you’re unaware, it’s Ted Bundy). Jessica Knoll perfectly dehumanized him in every way down to never giving him a name. Because this story isn’t about incel Ted, it’s about the survivors and the victims. It’s about how so many people in the system failed them. How women were and still are treated when it comes to the media and police. It’s about how we should always remember the victims. All 30 (and possibly more) victims matter. Fuck incel Ted.
