The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
3.0

I loved the mysteries and the games! It was fun to watch everything unravel and it's a good read, but the romance storylines.. left more to be desired. Honestly, I was hoping that Avery was going to end up with someone else (I googled to see if my suspicions were right, and they were). Beware spoilers!
SpoilerTo me, Avery had a lot more chemistry with Grayson, the scenes felt more charged and interesting while the ones with Jameson just weren't. From the vibes between them in this book it really felt like Jameson didn't care about her at all and they were both just venting and looking for company during everything that was happening. I was even thinking while reading that these two would be great friends - both totally willing to cause some chaos together for fun. To be even more honest, if Grayson hadn't rejected Avery at the end it really seemed like she would've gone with him instead of Jameson. Like Jameson was second choice. That was the other thing that bothered me - the character was always so unsure of what she was feeling towards the two. I'm not sure she really understood it even at the end. Maybe these things get cleared up in the coming books, but I have no interest in reading furthur. Of course this is all just my personal opinion and for anyone checking the comments before reading I say give it a shot! You may have the total opposite opinion that I do
