This was an entertaining if repetitive read. It’s got forbidden lovers, age gap, forced proximity. The main male character is hot. The spice takes a little while to arrive but there’s a lot of vanilla sex once it does. Nothing kinky at all, which is fine but important to note if you’ve been reading current romance novels. There are a lot of awkward moments in this story and even though the son is kind of a jerk, it’s still weird that his ex gets with his dad.
