I have mixed feelings about this one. I am in love with the plot and mystery but I find it all to be watered down by the protagonist’s somewhat egotistical narration. It’s frustrating to be in Maeve’s shoes because of how self-centered her shoes are. Despite that, I felt that the whole story was heavily grounded in reality despite being about magic. All the representation of witchcraft and wicca felt very true.
