☕ A Husband who wants to say something important to his wife but can't because she is brain dead.
☕ A woman who is filled with regret because she fell asleep and couldn't say goodbye to her dog while he took his last breath.
☕ A woman who rejected a marriage proposal and then regretted it
☕ A daughter who sent her father back unaware of the tragedy that'll hit them.
🌸 Similar to the previous three books of the series, Before We Say Goodbye has 4 short stories set in a cafe in Tokyo called Funiculi Funicula which along with coffee also offers time traveling experience to it's customers with some very specific and unexplainable rules.
🌸 The book is the fourth and the latest book in the series and i found it a little underwhelming as compared to the first and third book. I still remember crying my eyes out when I read the first book in January 2023.
🌸 The translation is excellent and I can only imagine how amazing reading it in its original language would be. If Toshikazu Kawaguchi writes it, i'm gonna read it.
🌸 I don't know if this was the last book in this series or if there'll be more coming in the future but one thing i know for sure is that Before The Coffee Gets Cold will always remain one of my comfort reads.
🌸 Highly recommended to everyone.
