I was asked to read this by a friend so I loved the buddy reading aspect. This was not the worst, but I feel that the core issue was the lack of chemistry. It feels as though we missed a good 20% of the book because they went from “you annoy me” to “I would die for you”. It was not instalove, but I truly thought I skipped a chunk of the book it was so jarring.
