Any Means Necessary by Lila Herron

I received this as an ARC and it was such a great read!

First off, lets discuss the positive plus size FMC representation in this book because its AMAZING!

Lexie is a traveling nurse who gets a house sitting job at Callum's NYC luxurious apartment, happily enjoying the silence in the apartment....until Callum comes in, confused as to why she's there as his normal housesitter Tony seems to be MIA and has given the job to Lexie. Callum although seemingly coldhearted, seems to be infactuated with Lexie. Shortly after Lexie discovers what Callum's "fixer" job actually entails and ultimately his mafia connections.

Lexie becomes his "mafia doctor" and goes with him on his "jobs" to take care of the injured. While this isn't what Lexie originally expected she finds her footing and does what she needs to do, which of course turns Callum on even more. The two of them have AMAZING banter, especially the way Lexie taunts Callum for always being so unemotional and straight faced.....I could sit here for hours and write about how great the storyline was and how witty the banter was and the chemistry between Lexie and Callum and how she broke down his rock hard facade but honestly........ GO READ THIS BOOK! You will NOT be disappointed!
