Oh this series. I want to love you more. The main character drives me FLIPPING crazy. I get wanting to rebel, and be independent and not be told what to do by any man... but she takes it to a whole other extreme. I love the male characters in these books though I feel attached to all of them. I also had a problem with constantly comparing to the Madison Kate series by Tate James that I read to weeks ago. Which maybe why I am having a hard time with it. I read book 1 and 2 back to back and I don't know that I care enough to finish the series. The writing is great, and I will absolutely read more by this author, I just can't connect with the female lead.. she drives my crazy and I find my self internally yelling at her to just shut up and do what she is told for once.
