Everything I Know About Love: A Memoir
by Dolly Alderton
emotional
funny
inspiring
reflective
slow-paced
Even though I enjoyed the book and liked the recipe chapters, I didn't love it. Some storiesspecifically the ones about all the nights out, getting drunk and the 'crazy' things she would started to feel repetitive and a little like bragging at one point. I must admit, though, that the writer comes back to this later on as 'one of the things she knows at...'. Additionally, there were other anecdotes and stories that I really did like.
Graphic: Alcoholism, Eating disorder, Alcohol
Moderate: Death, Mental illness, Terminal illness
Minor: Abandonment
