Tokyo Ghoul: re, Vol. 3 by Sui Ishida

3.0

It pains me to say this, but I'm officially dropping this series. I'm not enjoying it as much as the first one and seeing as this series is 16 volumes long, I'm not forcing myself to read 13 more volumes of something I'm not enjoying. That's not to say this series is bad, I'm not saying that at all, and I think this is overall a great series. But I can't deny that these last three volumes have been a slog of too long fight scenes, way too many characters I don't give a shit about, and frustrating transitions/shifting perspectives. If you want to continue with it, I encourage you to do so because I think this is a good series, but I'm calling it quits.
