As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner

2.0

This Faulkner novel tells the gothic tale of a dysfunctional family's journey to bury their mother. Each chapter is from the point of view of a different character, and their narration styles differ based on their education and neuroticism. I didn't really like this book, but I think it's because I'm kind of turned off by uneducated speech (let's admit it, I'm biased). However, I think I would benefit from re-reading this book sometime (despite how disturbing the characters are).
