Thank you to Emma Hart for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Happy Release Day!

I grew up a lover of Gilmore Girls and all its quirky characters and that's what the characters in Dead & Breakfast remind me of. Gwen obviously being Miss Patty, if you want to get technical. This book is a small town mystery with a little hint of romcom mixed in, and it's all sorts of wonderful.

This has got sass, snark, sarcasm, death, and an ex boyfriend with great forearms and the best green eyes. How could I *not* like this book?! It has all the characteristics of things I love, and is written in an easy to read way.

I am SO excited already to read the next book in this series when it releases.

If that doesn't convince you, I'll leave you with a few of my favorite quotes:

"'I don't know how to run a bed and breakfast.' Really, the only thing I could run was my mouth."

"I'd never get the blood out of my hair if I grabbed someone that violently."

"We're up so many arses we might as well get our faces printed on butt plugs."
