Love, Hate & Other Filters
by Samira Ahmed
Things I liked
- The character building (I feel like the author spent a lot of time on it)
- Discussion about the expectations her parents put on her
- a really important perspective. Of an Indian-American Muslim at the time of a terrorist attack that was blamed on a muslim
- I loved the character of Phil
Things I didn't like
- Took a long time to get to the main event (over half way)
- So the first half was a really drag to read
- The last half was then too quick and rushed
