Bli hvis du kan. Reis hvis du må by Helga Flatland

5.0

Helga Flatland, the genius that you are. It is simply written, but it feels very on point. The story explores different perspectives on its' characters, makes you go back and reread some pages again and again until you realize why they had done or said certain things. Makes the reader realize we do not often think about the outside perspective and only see as much as one person can. At moments heartwarming and intimate and at the very next moment - completely gut wrenching. It takes skill and precision to blend those moments together - and Flatland did it very beautifully. This book is very short, but in those 170 pages it has, it quenches the thirst for comfort and understanding. It is like a morning coffee. Or a warm, long hug in winter.
