Passion Project

The second romance I’ve picked up this summer that turned out to be set in NYC with a main character dealing heavily in grief. But this one did not reach me on a soul deep level like the first one. Idk. While I loved Henry and thought he was great, Bennet was so annoying. I hated the way she handled everything. I could deal with most of her poor choices writing them off as the byproducts of depression and grief. But the lying straight pissed me off. Especially when she was so mad about another character’s lie which was not nearly as big a deal. She was just really annoying.
I did loved Henry and did find myself emotionally connected at points. And I laughed here and there. But I’m giving 3 stars because the FMC was so dang annoying and ruined much of the story for me.
