Ugh I just wanted this book to be so much more than it was. The concept seemed really cool to me. Inspired by the Charles Manson cult, I just wanted there to be more action... more of anything really. There seemed to be little plot, little depth or purpose. I suppose the prose was pretty good, but that seems less meaningful when the story was so bland.
