I waited a day to write this review because I didn't care for the book, yet so many others just loved it, I wanted to make sure I was giving it a fair shake. After thinking about it, I decided I wasn't being too hard on the book. It was very choppy. As I went from one chapter to the next I felt like the author just thought up the next thing to write about and did so. The story just didn't flow or have a lot of depth. When I got to the end and realized this had been written in French and translated to the English version I read, I thought maybe something had gotten lost in translation.
