As my truest, bestest friend, he would love me simply for who I was, not who he thought I should be. He would be there in my good and bad times, support me in all ways, including financially, treat me as an equal, and wish the best for me. Being my lover was only the icing on the cake.

if you wanna read about the cutest and sweetest bird man ever… this book is for you. i cant count the amount of times i gushed or said “AWEEE” out loud due to the affection dakas has towards luana. their relationship progression is definitely my favorite part of this book but the plot part of why they get together in the first place is interesting as well! and as always, the couples learning about each other’s cultures is fantastic!
