i can't believe my luck to have been part of emilia's team since the first book of #theforbiddenheirtrilogy, it has been such a pleasure to read her debut series and i can't believe the journey is over now... i don't know if you guys can tell but i'm getting emotional, so let's go to my thoughts on the book!
i'm never sure as to how i should write these as i don't want to spoil the previous books to anyone reading this post but i will say that seeing lia's happily ever after unfold after every hardship her and her court of rebels have gone through has made me the happiest woman alive.
i really ain't lying if i say there's nothing i would've changed about this conclusion to the series, there's so much that happened but every single piece was well put together even as the worldbuilding, the magic system and the characters got more complex, it was so easy to follow everything that was going down. there wasn't a single page that didn't have me hooked with battle scenes or heart felt emotion/romance or feminine rage, or all of the three together! and there was so much of that found family banter i love to see... the only thing that had me frustrated was how much i wanted to scream at lia for being so reckless and not thinking twice before taking action, but i think our dear shadow mommy veli was the perfect embodiment of that too!
honestly, i couldn't have chosen a better book to get me out of this damned reading slump of mine (hence why this review is coming so late) and i can't wait to get my own copy!
so, what will you find in this book?:
🗡️ badass fmcs
🐺 multiple & villain povs
🐉 wyverns & mythical creatures
🔮 dark witches
🗡️ fated mates
🐺 feminine rage
🐉 found family
🔮 morally grey mcs
✨ complete series available on ku & amazon
