It has everything I like in a cozy mystery: picturesque English countryside complete with a magnificent old building and garden; family drama and secrets everywhere!
I really liked the characters except David, Kat's boyfriend. Every time he said something I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
All in all, I'd recommend this book for everyone who loves a Midsomer Murders or Agatha Raisin like light read set in a small village in the country. I know I'm looking forward to reading this series!
