Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow [Large Print] by Jessica Townsend

5.0

Nevermoor is the most magical, whimsical, and well-developed fantasy world I have read about since Harry Potter. In particular, the Christmas chapter is probably the most enjoyable passage I've read all year. I find it excruciatingly rare to find fantasy books that manage to develop complex and magical worlds while simultaneously maintaining a fast-paced and enthralling plot, but this book definitely did it for me. The characters are all very lovable, and the big reveal at the end wasn't wholly predictable (but still made sense and was subtly hinted towards).
