I'm a bit... disappointed. For me, this sequel began strong. I love when stories explore what happens after the characters get together. How do they grow together? Are they good for each other? How do they manage hardships? How do they make up after arguments? And I thought that this book would developed around this because there are so many things going bad between Simon and Baz. And those conflicts are realistic: Simon is handling trauma and is depressed because he basically lost all of what he was used to, and Baz doesn't know how to act with all of it and is desperately in love, and Simon thinks he would be better off without him... It sounds sooooo promising for the characters' development! Unfortunately, it fall flat once they arrive in America and all of their adventures happen. The different traps and fights and the all trip feel unorganic and I wasn't that invested. But the last third of the book was definitely better!
In the end, I'm looking forward to the last book to see if the relationships evolve in the right direction (I really really reallyyyyy hope so)

Agatha is amazing, she is the light in this adventure, I love her.
