This completely broke my heart. I wasn’t expecting it to end like that! I don’t know if I can wait until September. It took me so long to get through just because I was going through a reading slump from ACOWAR :( I picked it up again in the new year and could not stop reading it. I love the characters in this series but they can just be so frustrating sometimes.
I know Aelin needs to do some of this stuff to protect everyone but she’s always sacrificing something and it’s sad! She is the Queen, how is she supposed to be Queen while locked in a coffin! She is strong and I know she’ll make it through this but her poor friends. Poor Rowan finds out they’re mates right after she’s gone and he can’t do anything about it!
The thing I loved about this is that we got to see a whole other side to Manon that we haven’t really seen before. She had emotions... well... almost. She did realize that emotions may not be such a bad thing towards the end. But I loved her character in this book, way more than I did in the previous ones.
Elide. I love her. She’s so sweet and so brave. I was so shipping her and Lorcan. But she’s pushing him away! He just wanted to protect her and yeah it made everything go wrong but I don’t think he wanted it to end like that. I feel so bad for the boys in this story as they just get their hearts broken half the time.
I JUST CANT WAIT FOR SEPTEMBER I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GONNA HAPPEN AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF IM BROKEN.
