Wow this book was not what I expected but I really liked it! It discussed a lot of icky topics (such as discussed in banned books) like domestic abuse, the death of a sick parent, assault, verbal abuse, child molestation. However, it also spoke about hope, overcoming fear, forgiveness, and finding love in unusual places.
