Could you fall in love with the same person twice?

I’m not usually a fan of any plot that includes amnesia but this book and another I’m beta reading for another author are broadening my views on the whole amnesia trope. Clem gets the ultimate “clean slate” to start all over again and reinvent herself from scratch. It’s sad that she lost her past but imagine for a second you can start over again with none of the baggage that may have been weighing you down. I’m not sure the difficulty of relating to a sibling you don’t remember was entirely realistic but this is meant to be a love story NOT an entirely realistic portrayal of amnesia and its consequences. Ed and Clem were great together and it was endearing to watch Ed fall in love with this “new” version of Clem. I figured out the villain almost immediately but since I wasn’t reading the story expecting a mystery this didn’t bother me. The sexy times were hot as usual but there was one sentence put into a scene that hit my “ick” button in a BIG way....almost as bad as if she had put in a solid paragraph of the word “moist”. A very enjoyable read!
