i think i read more than half of this in one sitting. genuinely i would've finished 300 out of the 400 pages of this in one sitting if i didnt have to eat. i have never done that with a full length novel before. im writing this immediately after i finished it so i dont have a lot of coherent thoughts yet but i was engaged the entire time i loved that. the ending was incredible seeing how everything in the book led up to it
edit upon reread: i would say that thematically this is the weakest of jackson’s books bc cops but like. i still finished 80% of it in like one sitting. it moves quickly and it’s got a super fun mystery with a ton of layers (plus it’s got my favorite ending of any of her booksi loveeeeeeeeeeee letters ) i am seated for any holly jackson book.
