4.5 stars. It's very rare to see a trilogy where each subsequent book is better than the previous one. For this series the second book was better than the first, but the third blew the second out of the water. It's a near perfect mix of deep emotion, fast paced action, quiet introspection, and budding romance. With this book I can't help but add this series to my favorites shelf.
