I wanted to love this one as much as I love TJ Klune’s other books. I love his common themes of loving someone for all of who they are, faults included. But BOY it’s hard to connect to a robot world where the stakes and faults are BIG and entirely not relatable… at least Rambo and Nurse Ratched are my everything, even if the other characters are tricky.

Loved the
representation of autism, speech impediments, and non-binary characters
. Didn’t love the
fact that we help someone move on from literal constant murder and that they sometimes don’t remember you for all your love
.
