A thoughtful, sensitive and compelling look at Maddy Holleran’s life, struggles and death. It was interesting to see how social media didn’t help Maddy feel connected enough to confide in anyone about her struggles. It’s clear she placed immense pressure on herself to be perfect.
I really didn’t like the way the book was structured. I think the author could have woven facts and statistics throughout the text without having to center herself in the story.
