I enjoyed this, though not as much as I liked A Game of Thrones. The battle scenes that made up a lot of the second half were not terribly interesting, especially as I found it hard to keep track of who is who among the minor characters. Also, having two main(ish) characters who are missing half of their hand is just confusing. Also, there was not nearly enough about Daenerys, who is my favorite in this series. Hopefully that will be remedied in the next book.
