Did I just read a book about a deranged man who would kill, stalk, and fight for the girl he's obsessed with? Yes. Obsessed is such an understatement for what Roman is (besides psychotic). Didn't think I'd unlock 3 different kinks from one book.
The first act was such a strong start. Their reunion (if you can even call it that) was engaging, the flashbacks were well-placed and clicked into place with current events. However the high from the first act started to climb down by the 3rd act. It wasn't as immersive and kinda felt rushed. There wasn't much of a resolution, but their chemistry was there and that's all that matters, lol.
