This is the second in the Rizzoli and Isles series and finds them chasing a copy-cat killer that has taken his inspiration from the Surgeon, the killer from the first novel. But then things take a turn for the worse as the Surgeon himself escapes and joins in the game. This is an excellent and gripping page turner that follows on well from the first in the series. It is a little predictable as is often the case with this kind of book but this doesn't detract from the story, and let's be honest you don't always want something new and unusual, sometimes a familiar good ol' murder thriller is just what you want. And this is exactly that.
