The Mistletoe Motive
by Chloe Liese
I absolutely loved this Christmas romance!
Yes, I read a Christmas book in July, but that's because it's actually cold in July where I live. It was delightful reading a book set in winter, during winter, being able to drink peppermint hot chocolate with a blanket and a kitten on my lap.
These two main characters could not communicate in the early part of the book, but I love that they actually managed to figure out WHY they initially didn't understand each other.
Jonathan and Gabriela are such a delightful enemies / rivals to friends to lovers slowburn romance, and I was there for every part of their story. I also loved the Bookshop setting, with them learning to put aside their antagonism in order to try and save the bookshop they both love.
Highly recommend this one!
