I couldn’t wait until Penelope’s season comes. So here I am….
I was kind of disappointed. I enjoyed Colin’s character in others except in his own book.
The anger, manhandling, temper ain’t it.
The chemistry was there but barely. P loves C for so long, but C’s “infatuation” for P wasn’t there. There is no development.

I did enjoy some of the romance crumbs and Eloise and Colin’s bantering. True meaning of siblings.
And why tf is Colin always hungry..?!

Carriage scene and and
"For God's sake, Penelope," he said, grabbing her hand and yanking her down. "Are you going to marry
me or not?" Chapter 13

Before marriage?!?! Chap 18

I don’t think I read the mirror scene as many Bridgeton series fan are anticipating… or many I blanked out…

There was nothing more depressing than an ugly girl with no personality.
And in that first vear on the marriage mart, that was exactly what Penelope was. An ugly girl with no oh, very well, she had to give herself some credit-with very little personality.
Deep inside, she knew who she was, and that person was smart and kind and often even funny, but somehow her personality always got lost somewhere between her heart and her mouth, and she found herself saying the wrong thing or, more often, nothing at all.
