 I liked the overall plot and characters in this book, but the ending and the plot twists throughout were kind of predictable. I also feel like a lot of things were brought up and never really addressed again, which was slightly annoying, but since this is a series of interconnected standalones maybe some of these things will get addressed in the following books. I did really like the side characters in this book and cannot wait to read about them in the other books in the series. I also really liked Ares and the banter he had with Neve, and the fact that Neve wasn’t afraid of him.
