I checked out this book not knowing it was part of a Marvel series, and I'll be honest, I had my doubts. I have seen a handful of Marvel movies, and they are okay (I'm probably not their target demographic, lol), but I had never heard of Jessica Jones before...I think she's a more obscure character. That said, this book read mostly like a typically Lisa Jewell novel. Obviously, the main difference was characters with super powers, and a more science fiction element. The story was entertaining and fun.
