The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie

4.0

I went into this book knowing it had a famous twist ending and I think knowing that made it a wee bit less fun but still enjoyable overall. I suspected the twist of who the murderer was at the beginning even though I was suspicious of everyone. This was my second Christie book with my first being "And then there were none" I had the same issue with this book that I did with that one where the beginning was interesting and the ending was interesting and satisfying but the middle was boring/dragged. I have not really read many mysteries so I don't know how the middles are normally filled but I found myself less motivated to pick this book up while I was going through the weeds.
